I'm an Australian based in Singapore who loves working with people who are doing cool things.
As a consultant, I work extensively with senior leadership of organisations, startups and SMEs in Australia and Singapore. Working with businesses in a variety of industries including branded beef, womens shoes and Indigenous bush foods and art, I create connection and opportunities while supporting my clients export journey into South East Asia.
As an experienced startup founder, I am passionate about creating positive economic development outcomes for small businesses globally, but particularly for those in rural Australia by connecting SMEs, corporates and governments to talent that works remotely through my company, Pointer Remote. Since March 2017, we have enabled hundreds of professionals based in the regions to secure employment, driving over $25M in salaries into rural communities.
In 2022, I established The Trailing Spouse Co, a network that supports trailing spouses globally through virtual and in-person events, training and workshops. From personal experience, I understood that following a partner to a foreign country, new city, town, rural community or military posting can impact your career, network and access to continuing education. I've created a place where people can find other like-minded, professional trailing spouses, as well as training, education and employment opportunities, ensuing that individuals feel connected, have their mind stimulated and that they are always learning.
2022 also saw me, alongside Julia Spicer, co-found The Connection Table, a network with a core focus of getting more rural Australians a seat at the decision making table. Julia and I have regularly experienced being the only person from a rural area in a room where decisions are being made that directly impact rural people - this needs to change.
The recognition for my work includes 2021 COSBOA National Small Business Champion, 2019 AgriFutures Rural Women's Award National winner, 2018 Crow Awards Startup Superstar and Young Entrepreneur Awards, 2017 Soar Awards Regional Contribution winner and 2017 Finalist in the Regional Australia Institute Lightbulb Moments and Regional Online Heroes competitions.

Working with progressive organisations, I support business leaders who are looking to make structural change in their operations. I have experience working with SMEs through to large organisations as well as all three tiers of government. I also work with organisations navigating pathways to export markets in South East Asia.
I possess a strong knowledge and understanding of digital transformation, systems and process implementation as well as workplace culture. I have worked extensively with senior leadership of organisations around leadership and management skills.

Speaking.
With my early career spent in the classroom, I can entertain an audience. I have experience speaking to small groups on Zoom through to conferences with an audience of 1500+ people. Topics include: entrepreneurship, remote work women's economic opportunities and rural economic development.

Mentoring.
I work with a small number of one-on-one clients at a time. I draw not only on my experience as an educator, small business owner, award winning tech startup entrepreneur, but also my experience as the owner of failed business ventures, multiple career changes, suffering burnout (twice!) and being a mother while living and working in rural Australia and as an expat in South East Asia.
An honest, energetic and no nonsense leader, I create a supportive environment and relationship that comes from a place of mutual trust and vulnerability. I am a perpetual over-sharer of past experiences, but am also generous with sharing connections into my far reaching network.
I'm a big advocate for goal setting, making lists and clarifying action items, but I will not do the work for you. I will, however, support you to take the next step, whatever that may be.
